Licenses for purchased controls can be bought based on your own individual requirements for using the control.

When you have purchased a control you will be able to download that control by view your Order Details and the items you purchased on that order. You will also be able to define the "Host" names you wish to license your controls for and obtain immediately the license keys required to use the control.

Instructions as to where to store your license key will be provided when you generate it.

Licenses are based on the "Host" name of your web application. The second of the two examples shown below is the preferred method of licensing your purchases since it does not tie you to a machine but to a URL.

• Internal Application
  Users access your web application using the URL http://myserver/myapplication.
  
  The licensed host name you will need to provide is "myserver" (without the quotes).
  
• External Application
  Users access your web application using the URL http://www.mywebsite.com/myapplication.
  
  This licensed host name you will need to provide is www.mywebsite.com (without the quotes).

The licenses we provide are:

• Developer
  Suitable for small web applications in a simple web hosting environment. Provides a single license to install and use the control on one host.
• Application
  Suitable for medium size web applications that requiring hosting on a backup machine.
  Provides two licenses.
• Professional
  Suitable for larger web applications requiring more hosts, such as in a web farm scenario, to enable you to support many users.
  Provides four licenses.
• Enterprise
  Suitable for larger companies who host their web applications globally.
  Provides you with ten licenses.
• Universal
  Suitable for web applications that require no restriction on host name at all.
  Provides you with a royalty-free license to include the control in your web application.
